Why add Radiofrequency?
RF microneedling is a transformative treatment that works by creating precise micro-injuries in the skin with a boost of radio-frequency energy. The micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness. We use radiofrequency (RF) to boost these results.
Radiofrequency waves are delivered into the deeper layers of the skin, safely generating heat that promotes further tightening and enhancement of collagen and elastin levels. Even if you’re facing deeply etched lines and other age-related skin concerns, you can enjoy natural-looking long-lasting results with RF microneedling.
How does it work?
The mixture of both Multi-depth microneedling and various levels of RF heat is changing the skincare game for scarring, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, and texture. That makes the treatment at Refreshingly New a one-stop-shop treatment that can address most skin concerns and issues all in one unparalleled treatment!
What areas can I treat?
RF microneedling helps tighten skin on the face, neck, stomach, upper arms, and thighs. It does an excellent job at tightening the skin. As a reminder, it does not target adipose (fat) tissue.
Is RF Microneedling Painful?
RF microneedling is perfectly safe but to keep you as comfortable as possible you will follow our numbing instructions and have minimal discomfort. This makes it easier for you to enjoy the best possible results.
Numbing is not included in your appointment time, so please be sure to get a Numbing Pod and instructions at least 24 hours before your appointment, or plan to arrive 1 full hour before your scheduled appointment time.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
Our RF Microneedling sessions require numbing, and numbing time is not included in your booked appointment. Please be sure to get a Numbing Pod and instructions at least 24 hours before your appointment, or plan to arrive 1 full hour before your scheduled appointment time.
Leading up to the day of your appointment, drink plenty of water, avoid the sun as much as possible the day before your treatment to reduce potential skin irritation, and stop using retinoids or acid-based skin treatments.
Am I a good candidate for RF microneedling?
RF microneedling is suitable for all skin types and colors.
